A: Mayfield is relocating to a new, upgraded campus at 1 Hoddle Street, Richmond to enhance facilities and student experience.

A: The move allows us to provide a modern, purpose-built facility with improved labs, classrooms, and student support services.
LOCATION & CAMPUS
Q: Where is the new campus located?
A: 1 Hoddle Street, Richmond VIC.
Q: Is the new campus easy to get to?
A: Yes, it is centrally located with access to trains (Richmond Station), trams, and buses.
Q: Will all classes be at the new campus?
A: During the transition, only lab/practical sessions will occur onsite. Full campus operations will resume after September.
TIMELINE & TRANSITION
Q: When is the last day at Camberwell campus?
A: The final week of face-to-face delivery at 2–10 Camberwell Road will be the last week of May.
Q: When does the transition start?
A: 1 June 2026.
Q: How long will the transition period last?
A: From 1 June 2026 to 30 September 2026
Q: When will everything return to normal?
A: Full on-site delivery at the new campus is expected from late September.
ONLINE LEARNING
Q: Will my classes move online?
A: Yes, all theory classes will be delivered online between 1 June and 30 September.
Q: How will I attend online classes?
A: Classes will be conducted via your usual online learning platforms (e.g. Teams/LMS).
Q: Will online learning affect my course quality?
A: No, course delivery, learning outcomes, and support remain the same.
Q: Do I need special equipment for online classes?
A: You will need a device (laptop/tablet), internet access, and access to your student platforms.
PRACTICAL / LAB SESSIONS
Q: Will practical classes still happen?
A: Yes, all lab/practical sessions will continue face-to-face.
Q: Where will practical classes be held?
A: At the ground floor lab facility at 1 Hoddle Street.
Q: How often do I need to attend the lab?
A: Only on specific scheduled days as per your timetable.
Q: Will my lab schedule change?
A: Possibly. You will receive updated schedules in advance.
COURSE IMPACT
Q: Will my course be affected by the move?
A: No. Your course structure, assessments, and outcomes will remain unchanged.

FEES & ENROLMENT
Q: Will my fees change because of the move?
A: No, there are no changes to your course fees.
Q: Can I still enrol in courses during this period?
A: Yes, enrolments will continue as normal.
TRAVEL & ACCESS
Q: Do I need to travel every week?
A: No, only for scheduled lab sessions.
Q: Where do I go for lab classes?
A: 1 Hoddle Street, Richmond (ground floor lab).
Q: How will I get to the new campus?
A: Your options include:
Train – catch the train from your origiination station and get off at North Richmond.
Tram – Take City bound train and get off at Flinders St. From Flinder St, hop on Tram 19/59/57 to get off at Hoodle St.
Parking – There is paid parking at Secure Parking (218 Victoria St)/Care Park (35 Elizabeth Street)/Victoria Gardens Car Park. Street parking is avalilable with 2-hour free spots nearby.
