Mayfield Education is Victoria’s leading private not-for-profit vocational education provider for the health and community services sector. For over 50 years Mayfield has provided training courses and services that equip people with practical, work related skills for work in the health and community service sectors.

    Applications for our courses are encouraged from those who identify as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, people with disabilities, those from LGBTI communities and people from culturally diverse backgrounds. We believe in providing you with a real experience working in a real health care setting where you can learn and demonstrate your newly acquired skills.
  • Opportunities and Pathways

    We offer higher education and vocational education and training (VET) courses. Students can choose a VET course as a pathway to higher education. Others undertake a VET course whilst studying their degree. This enables them to gain employment as a health professional. If you have already been studying you may be eligible for recognition of prior learning or credit transfers.   • Information Sessions @ Mayfield Education

    To attend a pre course information session you must complete an online application form. You will then be contacted by student services to book you into a date and time that suites.

    Sessions are run at 09:30 and again at 1:30 pm and run for around 2 hours in total. During these sessions you will undertake an English Language Literacy and Numeracy assessment online. This will look at your capacity to complete the chosen course. The information session runs for around 2 hours in total.
